I just have a quick minute on the computer for emails. I heard about Sister Anderson, and I just wanted to send a quick note to everyone that I am sorry. She was always kind to me and I used to love coming over to your house in Idaho Falls. I also wanted to mention how grateful I was for a knowledge of the Plan of Salvation and for the tender mercies of the Lord. When I have felt loss before, one thing that's always got me through is knowing the promises of Heavenly Father that we will have our losses made up, and then some, and we will be able to be with those we care about after our short sojourn in this life. I love you all, and miss you guys, and I pray that you will all be blessed with the comfort and peace that comes through the Spirit of God.

Dear Mike and family, Our sympathies to you all. We enjoyed having Karla in the neighborhood and working with her in Scouts and Primary. She had such enthusiasm for the task at hand and life in general - due partly to you her family! She was an inspiration, and friend. Know are thoughts are with you. The Burns family

I'll always treasure my memories of Karla and all I learned from her in the years I was her visiting teacher. I sure don't know how heaven works, but to the extent that she is able to watch over you, I'm certain her heart is full of loving thoughts and motherly concern for each one of you. I feel she is counting on us to look after each other. Please accept all the love and service that comes your way. And please keep the Mill Run Ward informed of how everyone is doing. You always have a second home here. My cell: 681-9989

Oh Mike, I wish we would have known or at least understood so we might have supported you more specifically in prayer! Please know we will do so now, you and your family are very much in our thoughts and prayers. Jerry will be driving back out tomorrow - I so wish that I could make the trip again... I feel so sad that we didn't see you this last trip out. We felt it was what you wanted, though, and respected that.

I remember Karla's dedication to her husband and children and her self-effacing manner. She went about caring for her family w/ single-mindedness and commitment and was always willing to do for them and others w/o calling attention to the fact. I had conversations w/ her about her obvious intelligence and natural gifts (though she didn't see herself that way). Her focus was on the efforts and successes of her husband and children. She was so thoughtful and had a VERY sweet spirit and a kind heart. She is most definitely missed.

Much love to you all...

Mike and family,

Words cannot express my sadness at your loss. I wish to express my deepest condolences. I'll never forget the times I spent with your family during our cabin trips or the summer I spent at your house. Karla was always very kind to me, and treated me like one of her own. She will be very missed.

Although we never shared any classes together, I do remember Karla and her kind smile. Wish our circles hadn't been so tight back then and that I hadn't been away from Cache Valley for 25 yrs. I might have been able to get to know her better. Our family's thoughts and prayers go out to hers in hopes they can be comforted. Know that she awaits you on the other side and it will only seem like a brief moment until she is holding you again.

We loved Karla and will miss her so much. She was a great example and wonderful mother. Couldn't have asked for a better sister-in-law. I still remember her talking about letting the kids have chocolate cake for breakfast. I will miss her fun spirit.

We want you to know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. We are especially mindful of how challenging this is with Sam still on his mission. He spent many hours in our home and had many great things to say about his mom. May Heavenly Father comfort your family during this difficult time.

With Love,
